Dodging Derailment - A Workshop for Mediators
On 12th November 2009, I led a workshop for
my fellow mediators at Camden Mediation Service, entitled Dodging Derailment.  We focused on how to deal with those moments during mediation when we feel derailed by some unconscious emotional or physical reaction which distracts us from our work as mediators. We used exercises from Corporeal Mime to further self-awareness, and discussed the sources of nourishment in our lives, and the ways in which these can ground us during challenging mediations.

Conflict Resources for GPs
On 3rd June 2009, I worked with a group of trainee GPs on how to handle conflict. particularly during GPs' Surgeries. Observing the participants in role-play, I was struck by the way a GP needs to alternate between a number of different roles during Surgery.  I named these roles the Witness, the Mirror, the Ally, the Director, the Problem Solver and the Fellow Human Being.
